Houston, Texas – Houston- area authorities are on the trail of a woman on suspicion of using a fake driver’s license and someone else’s information to withdraw money from a bank account.
On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, the described white woman was caught by a surveillance camera withdrawing $ 17,700 from the victim’s account, of that amount $ 8,000 was in cash and she bought a cashier’s check for $ 9,700 in the 200 block of W. 20th St. in Harris County.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, the suspect brought the cashier’s check for $ 9,700 to another branch in the 17300 block of North Freeway, and again used a fake driver’s license with the victim’s information and received $ 9,700 in cash.
Soon after, he went to another branch and withdrew $ 9,000 in cash. The victim suffered a total loss of $ 26,700.
