PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly double shooting this Sunday night.

It happened around 7:00 pm near the 2100 block of Jackson Street.

Police say a 15-year-old teenager was shot in the head and left thigh. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

The shooting also injured an 18-year-old. He was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the lower back. He is currently in critical condition, police said.

No arrests have been made.

In other police developments, Philadelphia police are investigating after a suspect kicked in the front door of a man’s home and shot him multiple times in West Philadelphia. The shooting occurred in the 1600 block of North 60th Street just before 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the 45-year-old man received a phone call from a woman and when he left, an argument broke out with her. When the victim returned inside his home, an unknown man kicked in the front door of his house and fired several shots, hitting the victim in the abdomen and left forearm.

The man and woman fled the scene before the officers arrived. The victim was taken to a hospital in the area and placed in critical condition.

An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
