WWE officially removes word “Women” from NXT Women's Titles

We mentioned this week via PWInsider information, the WWE plans to delete the word “Women” of its women’s titles for the NXT brand.

It is now done since Kay Lee Ray and Rhea Ripley were both presented as NXT UK Champion and NXT Champion respectively this Saturday evening during WWE Worlds Collide. It is out of concern for equality between male and female talents that WWE would have made this decision, in order to no longer make distinctions.

For the moment, it is impossible to say whether the same will apply or not for the women’s divisions of RAW and Smackdown, but we will have the answer this Sunday evening during the Royal Rumble. Below, you can discover screenshots where this change is visible:

What do you think?
