During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts through the USA Network, the Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy team managed to raise the Raw Tag Team Championships after defeating The Viking Raiders in combat.
The confrontation was the last to last of the day. Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe supported Viking Raiders in ringside and were responsible for driving the Authors of Pain away from the action. However, this was not enough to prevent Rollins and Murphy from obtaining the titles when “The Monday Night Messiah” applied a curb stomp on Ivar on the ropes, giving his partner a chance to drag him toward the canvas for the count of three.
In this way, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy win the RAW Tag Team Championships. The team of Ivar and Erik managed to win the titles 98 days ago, during the Monday Night RAW on October 14, 2019. The duo defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in that edition of the red show held in Denver, Colorado. This is Buddy Murphy’s second title on the main roster, who had already won the Cruise Championship when the division was not exclusive to NXT. In addition, Seth Rollins stands as a tag team champion for the sixth time in his career.
Buddy Murphy decided to join Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain
After suffering his third loss to Aleister Black, Buddy Murphy decided to join Seth Rollins and The Authors of Pain to end the Big Show, Kevin Owens, and Samoa Joe in the Fist Fight held last week. A few moments ago, Owens, Joe and The Viking Raiders interrupted a promo from their rivals and began a physical exchange in the center of the ring. Later, Rollins warned that he and Murphy would face Ivar and Erik for the titles.
