Alex McCarthy, from talkSPORT, has reported that WWE has reached an agreement with Channel 5 where NXT UK will air every Wednesday at 12 am The company has published an official report, explaining this great television deal of the British division.
WWE has announced a TV deal with Channel 5 here in the UK.
It will bring one-hour versions of both RAW and SmackDown to 5. On top of that, NXT UK will air on Paramount Network each Wednesday from 12am.

LONDON and STAMFORD, Connecticut, January 21, 2020 -WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced a new partnership with Channel 5 of ViacomCBS to broadcast the highlights of the weekly Raw and SmackDown programs on UK open television. Starting February 2, Channel 5 will broadcast a one-hour Raw version on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and a SmackDown version of one hour on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. In addition, NXT UK will air on Paramount Network every Wednesday at midnight.
“Bringing the highlights of our flagship programming to open-air television for the first time in the United Kingdom with Channel 5 is a significant step for the WWE brand and more good news for our passionate fan base in the United Kingdom,” said Andy Workman, Vice President and General Manager of WWE United Kingdom and Ireland.
“WWE has great appeal throughout the United Kingdom and in all generations, so we are very excited to bring its high-quality entertainment to an even larger free-to-air audience,” said James Tatam, Vice President Commercial, Digital and Operations of Channel 5.
In addition to the new free streaming agreement, earlier this month WWE announced its launch at BT Sport in the United Kingdom, offering live broadcasts exclusive to Raw, SmackDown and NXT, as well as monthly NXT UK and WWE pay-per-view events.
