IMPACT Wrestling has announced in the last hours the celebration of a special One Night Only event with a theme on TNA that will take place on April 3 and will be part of the series of events that will be held at the WrestleCon on the occasion of the weekend from WrestleMania 36.
The company has not announced which superstars will be part of the show, but some star from the past is expected to make its return. The idea of holding a TNA One Night Only special was first launched by Ethan Page in October 2019.
The Young Bucks (Generation Me in TNA) continued with the idea of working on the event and the executive vice president of IMPACT Wrestling, Scott D’Amore invited them to face The Motor City (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin). The situation with both teams has changed since then and, a priori, they are not expected to be part of the show.
Tickets to see the live show will go on sale on Monday, January 20 at 12 pm (New York time) at WrestleCon.com. The event will also be broadcast live on Fite TV, although prices are not yet known and also if the platform will launch a special offer for all WrestleCon shows, something that has been done before.
There’s no place like home.
TNA officially returns for one night only on Friday, April 3rd at 7pm.

Impact Wrestling nostalgia strip
TNA One Night Only will not be the only nostalgic show that Impact Wrestling will be hosting soon. This week it was announced that its classic event, Lockdown, will have a new edition in 2020. The show, described by the company as “the most dangerous event of the year,” will be held on March 28 at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and will be later broadcast on Impact Plus.
