Ring of Honor has decided to go one step further to relaunch its women’s division, Women of Honor (WOH). That is why the company has decided on a series of changes in order to stabilize the situation after the departure of its last champion, Kelly Klein. This has been confirmed exclusively by Casey Michael in the exclusive section of the Squared Circle Sirens portal.
The first decision, and announced by the company, is the realization of a series of tests for superstars on March 27 and 28 at the ROH Dojo in Baltimore. This will be done to form a large roster to relaunch the division. It is open to any fighter that wants and there will be outstanding personalities of the company, such as Jonathan Gresham, Delirious and Angelina Love.
On the other hand, another of the decisions taken in that the championship will be retired until there is stability in the division and the women’s roster is reformed. It should also be noted that ROH’s wrestler and creative, Bully Ray, will no longer be part of WOH’s decision making.
The last Women of Honor champion, Kelly Klein, ended her contract with the company for the controversy of concussions, in which she uncovered, along with former producer Joey Mercury, the poor policies that ROH had in that, among other aspects.
Since then, there has been no news about it. Now with the arrival of wrestlers such as Session Moth Martina or Maria Manic, something they consider to be props for the relaunch, the company wants to be a reference in the women’s division.
