Ring of Honor (ROH) announced last night the hiring of the Australian Wrestler Slex, which will be incorporated to the rest of the workforce on a regular basis next to the year 2020, with possibilities, not yet confirmed, to participate in the first events of the year on the 11th and 12th of January.
At 33, the Australian has more than a decade of experience as a professional, in which he has become one of the main fighters of the Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) company, where other international talents such as Adam Brooks were also formed or Robbie Eagles.
Slex’s new contract with ROH will allow him to debut on American soil, since until now he only had experience in the independent scene of his country, in which he has been able to measure the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada, and participate in tours of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), and Japan, where he worked during the summer of 2013 as a partner of the now NXT American champion, Roderick Strong.

With this signing, Slex joins the list of contracts for the month of December of ROH, also the already debuted Dan Maff, Bateman, and the Mexican Flamita. They could be joined by Rey Horus and Nicole Savoy, who left good feelings between the board during their debut last Sunday at the Final Battle Fallout event, and Vita VonStarr and Chuckles, who appeared as companions of Bateman and Vincent in the same show.
