In late November, director, producer, and writer David Sahadi announced on his Twitter account that he will return to IMPACT Wrestling to work full time. While it was believed that Sahadi would also continue to work for Major League Wrestling, a PWInsider report confirmed that he will only be in IMPACT.
Sahadi worked for WWF/WWE between 1992 and 2003. At the end of his contract, he went to TNA (IMPACT), being there between 2004 and 2017. According to reports, his departure from IMPACT was due to the company’s cost reduction measures. Matrix Anthem Sports & Entertainment.
In April 2019, the director returned to the business to work in the MLW backstage. Due to internal unhappiness and resentment on the part of the promoter, Sahadi would have decided that he would work exclusively and full time with IMPACT.
However, in the last hours, Sahadi wrote a twit supporting both companies: “AEW and NXT got all the attention this fall. Congratulations to NXT for the shows they have done for the last 5 weeks. But in 2020, IMPACT Wrestling and MLW will be those who make noise! Both are led by incredibly passionate leaders with different visions but very creative minds. ”
AEW and NXT grabbed all the attention this fall. Rightfully so. And congrats to NXT for the last 5 weeks. But in 2020 @IMPACTWRESTLING and @MLW will be the ones making some noise! Both are led by incredibly passionate leaders with different yet uniquely creative visions…
