WrestleCon announced Brodie Lee (formerly Luke Harper in WWE) for its annual WrestleCon event in Tampa, FL during the weekend of WrestleMania 36. As of now, Lee has only been announced for the convention and not for the WrestleCon SuperShow event.
WrestleCon has confirmed from its social networks the presence of international superstars and other names such as Will Ospreay, Nick Aldis, Bandit, Taya Valkyrie, Zoe Lucas, Shane Douglas, Francine, Celeste Bonin, Brodie Lee and the appearance of Charley Caruso. They have also announced that they will soon announce 10 more superstars that will be present at the show as well as at the convention.
This marks Lee’s first announced appearance after being released from WWE. Lee left WWE on December 8 after making his release request public in April 2019. He registered the name of ‘Brodie Lee’ in November 2019, which is the name he used on the Independent scene.
Lee was recently seen with AEW superstar and Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara last week in a Corpus Christi IceRays game. Both were special guests of the team. Lee is currently applying its 90-day non-competition clause, which will expire in March.
