During the AEW Dynamite broadcast, it has been confirmed that next week The Dark Order will present its leader, The Exalted One. It should be noted that next week’s show will be held from Rochester, New York, city Natalie Brodie Lee – known as Luke Harper in WWE. However, it has also been rumored that Matt Hardy could end up taking the role of leader of the stable.
In this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Christopher Daniels has done a promo that mimics the style of The Dark Order performances, taunting them and the figure of The Exalted One. Finally, Daniels challenged Evil Uno and Stu Grayson to face them individually in any show, regardless of whether in AEW Dynamite or AEW Dark. In addition, Daniels affirmed that The Exalted One does not exist, and that will be demonstrated when it does not appear after the beatings that it will give to both Uno and Grayson. Hence, Daniels is expected to be involved in the story to a greater or lesser extent.
As we reported, both Brodie Lee (known as Luke Harper for his time in WWE) and Matt Hardy, are the two wrestlers who would have the best chance of ending up occupying the role. In the case of Brodie Lee, the 90-day non-competition clause imposed by WWE will end in the next few days, so his AEW debut is scheduled to take place next week in his hometown of Rochester, New York. On the part of Matt Hardy, despite being a free agent, he has not indicated that he has signed with AEW, but his recent videos co-starring with the Young Bucks would be a more than an obvious clue of his signing by the Khan’s company.
In addition to this segment, AEW has announced more bouts and segments for next week:
Combat to determine advantage in Blood & Guts
The Inner Circle vs. The Elite
Lucha Bros (with PAC) vs. Best Friends (with Orange Cassidy)
