We’ll have to get used to it, the next shows and pay-per-view of the WWE will take place at the Performance Center until further notice due to closings and measures taken to combat the spread of the coronavirus, and NXT intends to take the opportunity to offer a format different from its show.
WWE’s yellow show hours will be the same as usual, but this week’s episode will have a “different format” than what is usually offered in public, as read on the Stamford company website.
It will be broadcast at the usual times in a different format with in-depth portraits of the characters, detailed accounts, interviews and unpublished content.
We do not yet know what this new format really consists of, but it seems that NXT wants to creatively differentiate itself from the Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown shows which have hitherto offered content more or less similar to that found during public shows.
NXT TakeOver: Tampa could also not take place, but a special episode of the Wednesday show could be broadcast the week of WrestleMania with the championship games scheduled on the TakeOver card. WWE has yet to confirm this information.
