Jeff Cobb, one of the most quoted independent wrestlers today, will be part of the cast of All Elite Wrestling from now on, as confirmed by the Khan company. Jeff Cobb has been part of different companies throughout his career, such as ROH, NJPW or Lucha Underground, where he used the character of Matanza Cueto. In addition, he participated in the 2004 Athens Olympics.
The announcement was made by Chris Jericho during the last episode of AEW Dynamite during a promo because, in his words, he has been searching across the planet for a bounty hunter to destroy Jon Moxley before his match at AEW Revolution, Jeff Cobb being the chosen one.
Subsequently, Moxley took the victory against Santana in the main match of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, but could not overcome the Inner Circle, who brutally attacked him until the appearance of Jeff Cobb. The segment ended with Cobb finishing off Moxley with the Tour of The Islands in the center of the ring, planting the seed ahead of their meeting next week.

At the moment no more details are known about Jeff Cobb’s signature with AEW, although he is expected to not be an exclusive superstar of the company and can go with other companies, which is common in All Elite Wrestling contracts.
Today, Jeff Cobb is still announced to participate in the ROH event, Supercard of Honor, which will take place during the weekend of WrestleMania. In that event, Jeff Cobb will team up with Dan Maff to face KENTA and Taiji Ishimori. In this way, the card for next week’s AEW Dynamite episode looks like this:
Steel Cage Match
Cody vs. Wardlow
AEW World Tag Team Championship
Kenny Omega and Hangman Page (c) vs. The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix)
Battle Royal to aspire to the World Tag Team Championships at AEW Revolution
