Wrestler Austin Gunn, son of WWE Hall Of Famer Billy Gunn, has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling. This was confirmed last night by the company’s executive vice president, Cody, who appeared in the AEW Dark taping held after the live broadcast of AEW Dynamite and announced the official arrival of Gunn to the promotion.
Over the past few weeks, Gunn has been teaming up with his father Billy Gunn, who also works as a producer for AEW. Last week, they both faced Santana and Ortiz, and yesterday they joined forces again to stand up to the team formed by Shawn Spears and Preston Vance. Both matches were dark matches.
Gunn, 25, started his wrestling career in 2017 and has been working on the independent circuit since then. Last August, he competed in the 2019 Ring Of Honor Top Prospect Tournament, losing in the final against Dak Draper on September 28. Gunn also participated in the Battle Royal of All In 2018, a match that was finally won by Flip Gordon.
