Chicago, Illinois – The theft of an armed vehicle this afternoon at the Old Orchard shopping center in the suburb of Skokie It ended with the arrest of one person and another who fled around 8 p.m. in the Old Irving neighborhood. Police managed to reach the suspected thieves in that neighborhood miles from where it all started when the car they stole ended up crashing near Keeler and Byron Street.
A chase was made when the driver of the car got on the Edens Freeway and then got off at the Irving Park exit. The entire incident lasted nearly an hour according to the district councilor where the leak ended, Jim Gardiner. Gardiner also shared through his Facebook page that the Chicago Police Department, Skokie Police Department, and the State Police collaborated to find the two people involved. The councilman also shared these images.
