Exercise is the best way to stay fit and healthy. With these two exercises, you train the entire body.
Regular exercise is important for a long and healthy life. Every step you take helps you stay healthy and agile for a long time. You can read that in countless guides, which at the same time name the best exercises for the different body areas.
And this also makes sense. If you want to have a flat stomach, this simple exercise is recommended. If you want to start your day sporty in the morning, the breakfast workout is right for you. But if you want to do as much as possible for long health with as little effort as possible, experts recommend these two exercises:
Burpees (push-up jump)
This exercise requires some level of coordination. Squat down with your back as straight as possible. Then jump backward with your feet so that you are in the push-up position. Then do a push-up. Now jump forward with your feet so that you crouch again and then push yourself vigorously. Jump as high as you can with your arms stretched out (be careful with the blanket if you exercise at home!). Then squat again and start the exercise over again.
Doing this exercise for the first time can help you do it in the push-up position with your legs slightly apart. So you have a better grip. In general, it is advisable to make the burpees slow at the beginning in order not to risk technical errors. If you haven’t done any pushups yet, just skip this part of the exercise.
More experienced can either pull their knees up or spread their legs when jumping.
Burpees are real calorie eaters
Most people learn to hop over the rope from childhood. If you want to do it for fitness purposes, it is advisable to take a rope that is lightly weighted with weights. Start slowly and then increase the pace and duration of the workout.
Burpees and jumping rope are so well suited to keeping fit in the long run because both exercises appeal to the entire body. At the same time, you train your condition and promote coordination – both help you to stay fit and agile at any age.
Since both exercises are very strenuous, it is advisable to consult a doctor beforehand. You should also start with shorter units to avoid injuries.
