The coronavirus pandemic is raging in many countries of the world, especially in the United States and Europe, after normality has gradually recovered in China. However, there are countries that, for one reason or another, appear to be dodging the outbreak. They are as follows:
North Korea still does not report a case, although several health authorities have doubts about it since it is known that the state has a close relationship with China. At least officially, none of its 25 million inhabitants is infected.
None of its 200,000 inhabitants of this place in Polynesia has been infected so far, according to their authorities.
Located in Oceania, none of its 650,000 inhabitants show symptoms compatible with COVID-19, making it one of the few countries in which it seems that the virus has not entered.
Also located in Polynesia, this country has just over 100,000 inhabitants who have also gotten rid of COVID-19. The health authorities at least allege this, assuring that they do not have any reported cases.
At the moment, the population of this region of Micronesia, in the Pacific Ocean, is getting rid of Covid-19. No less than 53,000 people get rid of all symptoms related to the virus.
Like other names on the list, Tuvalu is also in Oceania. Its 11,000 inhabitants seem to be free of threat for now, probably because it is the least visited island in the world.
It barely has around 10,000 inhabitants, making it considered one of the smallest states in the world. However, they have taken all kinds of precautions to prevent the virus from reaching them, and it seems that it has taken effect, since at the moment they remain at zero.
None of the 20,000 inhabitants of the oceanic country has presented any symptoms of the coronavirus. For now, its counter is kept to zero as far as infected are concerned.
It is probably the little tourism that is the reason why this Central Asian country has not been affected by the effects of the coronavirus. At least for the moment, its nearly eight million inhabitants are free of Covid-19.
Turkmenistan also appears safe from the pandemic. The rulers of this central Asian country, located in territory that has historically been in dispute, say loud and clear that they are virus free.
Vanuatu also has its counter at zero. Located in the South Pacific, its nearly 260,000 inhabitants are free of Covid-19, at least officially speaking.
As with other countries mentioned, Comoros is a place where there is very little tourism. Made up of three islands in Southeast Africa, it has just over 700,000 inhabitants.
Kiribati’s secret is probably its remote location, thanks to which it is able to circumvent the virus. This country located in the central Pacific with 33 atolls and islands has just over 110,000 inhabitants.
Located in the south of the African continent, this country has 2.2 million inhabitants, quite a lot more than most of the list. However, all of them have avoided the pandemic, as the authorities assure.
Consisting of four states, its population is over 100,000 inhabitants. He also has no cases of coronavirus.
