Gwinnett County, Georgia – The weekend started violently in Gwinnett County after at least two homicides were reported in less than eight hours.
The first of the cases occurred around 10:46 pm this Friday in Norcross when officers responded to a report of a shooting at 3495 Jones Mill Road, Gwinnett Police said in a statement.
Upon arrival, the police found two people shot in a car. A woman was taken to a hospital with various injuries.

A man who was in the vehicle had already passed away.
The police did not provide the identity of the victims. It also did not report on possible suspects.
Hours later, at around 5:09 am on Saturday, police responded to a call from an injured person on Roxwood Park Drive and Woodward Mill Road, north of the county.
When agents arrived, they found a woman dead on the road, it was reported in another statement.

Police said homicide detectives are working to identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
At the moment there is no suspect in the case either.
