With 93 cases from coronavirus confirmed in the community, the City of Carson Town Hall, south of The Angels plans to meet today to consider issuing an order requiring the mandatory wearing of masks.

The measure would apply to residents and visitors within the city limits located within L.A. county and those who do not comply would face fines of up to $ 1,000.

The County Department of Public Health Director, Barbara Ferrer, reaffirmed on Monday the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control to wear face masks at all times, however, at this time the measure is not mandatory in any county city.

Recently the riverside county issued a similar order requiring the mandatory wearing of masks when leaving the house and even inside a car.

Until Monday afternoon, Los Angeles had more than 6,000 positive cases of coronavirus.
