Police Search for Missing Bakersfield Girl Who Suffers from Medical Condition

Bakersfield, California – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community for help in finding the whereabouts of a girl who is missing from her home in Bakersfield, and who is afflicted with a medical condition.

This is the young Eliza Sánchez, 17 years old, who is described by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office as a girl 5 feet 5 inches tall (1.65 mts), weighing between 125 to 130 pounds ( 56.6 to 60 kilos) of weight, has orthodontic braces. The missing girl was last seen wearing a pair of blue sweatpants, a light pink shirt, and sandals.

Eliza escaped from her home on Vine Drive, and witnesses say she was picked up by “Hispanic men” in a blue 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and was last seen in the Cottonwood Road area.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office asks any citizen with information on the whereabouts of the missing girl Eliza Sanchez, to contact them by calling (661) 861-3110 or the “secret witnesses” line (661) 322-4040.
